We are pleased to be in a position to offer this excellent opportunity to join our Admin team.
RoleThis is a varied and practical role, perfect for someone who thrives in a team environment, willing to learn and enjoys working with numbers. You'll be based in a fast-paced admin office, supporting a wide range of business functions.
Full training will be provided across all areas, with opportunities to grow as your experience builds.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Filing, photocopying, scanning and other general administrative tasks
- Handling incoming calls and managing a telephone switchboard
- Supporting sales and purchase processes
- Learning sales invoice and purchase invoice processes
- Calculating specifications using different units of measure
- Contributing to general housekeeping to ensure a well-organised office
We're looking for someone who:
- Has excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Is confident on the phone and enjoys customer interaction
- Is comfortable working with numbers and able to calculate using different units of measure
- Has strong attention to detail, particularly when working with invoices and figures
- Is computer literate - experience with Excel, Sage, or Bistrack is a bonus but not essential
- Holds GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths C (Grade 5) or above
- Is organised, detail-oriented, and proactive
- Shows initiative and picks up new systems and processes quickly
- Is a team player, ready to support others and take on new challenges
- Basic rate of pay with increases as experience and skills develop.
- 30 days holiday including bank holidays and Christmas shutdown.

40 hours per week

RoleInvolvement in a range of duties which include -
- Backing off machines
- Manual Handling
- Quality Control
- Safe working practices
- General house keeping
- Machinist training
All on a basic level to progress with experience
Candidate- Confident in English and Maths at GCSE level or equal
- Punctual
- Show initiative
- Enthusiastic and eager to learn
- Someone not afraid to go the extra mile when required
- Applicants must be 18 years or older due to insurance requirements
- Competitive basic salary based upon experience
