We are looking for a class 2 driver with an enthusiastic and hard-working attitude, who also has strong customer service skills and a professional and personable approach. Good geographical knowledge of the Northwest, Northeast, North Wales, Cumbria, and the Midlands would be advantageous, delivering multi drop orders of timber.
Some deliveries require handballing bundles of timber so please consider this when applying.
Candidate

Some previous history in the timber trade would be preferred but not essential.

- Full UK Driving Licence with a maximum of six penalty points
- Class 2 Licence
- Digital Tacho Card
- Up to date CPC training
- Minimum of 2 years recent experience
- Good knowledge and understanding of health and safety relating to the role
- Good geographical knowledge
- Competitive full time salary based upon experience

7.00am - 4.00pm Monday to Friday
42.5 hours per week
The role involves a range of duties, including loading and unloading vehicles, picking orders for customers, maintaining general housekeeping standards, and carrying out manual handling tasks.
Candidate- Must have experience and hold a valid Sideloader Licence.
- Confident in English and Maths at GCSE level or equal
- Punctual

- Competitive basic salary based upon experience

Involvement in a range of duties which include -
- Backing off machines
- Manual Handling
- Quality Control
- Safe working practices

- Machinist training
All on a basic level to progress with experience
